On the southern and western walls, the letters of the two alphabets – Glagolitic and Cyrillic – can be seen on carved wooden panels. Their unique craftsmanship is the work of talented woodcarvers under the guidance of master Darin Bozhkov, a graduate of the Tryavna School of Art.
The beauty of the script created by Saints Cyril and Methodius is recreated by arranging the Glagolitic letters in an intricate interwoven pattern, while at the same time presenting the meaning of each of them in Cyrillic.
